Justin Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American singer who came to fame as front vocalist for the pop band N*Sync. His career started after a stint on the American television talent show Star Search when he was a cast member on the 1980s version of the Mickey Mouse Club variety show. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee.
Timberlake later gained attention for his relationship with Britney Spears.
During the halftime show of Super Bowl XXXVIII, Timberlake performed a song and dance routine with Janet Jackson to an audience of over 100 million people. During this live performance, he bared her breast in what he called a "wardrobe malfunction". CBS, the NFL, and MTV, which produced the halftime show, disclaimed all responsibility under a hailstorm of controversy. The FCC announced an investigation.
